How big will the PNG files be?
Much bigger than the HEIC, a 12 megapixel photo easily reaches 15 to 25 MB. For sending, JPG is the better choice.
What about Live Photos?
The still image is converted. The short video part of a Live Photo is a separate file and is left out.
