How does this tool work?
Use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract text from photos or scans directly in the browser.
Select the image and set the language to be recognized. Click "Recognize Text", and the tool will analyze the image and display the recognized text in a text box. You can copy the text or save it as a TXT file. Your images remain private on your system.
Where are my data processed?
Only in your browser. Your data is not sent to any server.
The tool calculates and converts with JavaScript right on your device. Input and files are not sent to us or anyone else. You can check this yourself: load the page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool keeps working in the open tab.
On first use, the tool downloads the recognition engine and language data from cdn.jsdelivr.net. Your image is not sent anywhere.
