# WiFi QR Code Generator

> Create QR codes to easily connect guests to your WiFi network.

- Open in browser: https://pockettoolbox.org/en/wifi-qr
- Runs entirely in your browser; files and input are never uploaded.

## How it works

Allow your guests to access your WiFi without having to laboriously type in passwords.

Enter your network name (SSID), password, and encryption type. The tool uses this data to generate a special WiFi QR code. When your guests scan this code with their smartphone camera, they are automatically connected to the internet. You can then print the code directly.

Formats network credentials according to the MECARD schema with character escaping, drawing the QR code grid to a canvas.
