## How it works

A fully client-side Video-to-GIF converter.

The tool loads your video file locally into the browser memory. It extracts frames at the selected time interval and resolution using an offscreen canvas buffer, and then compiles them into an animated GIF file via the 'gifshot' JavaScript library.

Samples video frames over time intervals onto an offscreen canvas. Encodes image data using color dithering algorithms in web workers to generate animated GIFs.
