# Time Zone Converter

> Convert times between cities and time zones and see at a glance when a meeting falls within everyone's working hours.

What time is it in New York right now, and when does a call with colleagues in Singapore work? Add the places and move the time. Green is working hours, orange free time, black is night.

- Open in browser: https://pockettoolbox.org/en/time-zone-converter
- Tool: [Timezone Planner](https://pockettoolbox.org/en/timezone-planner)
- Runs entirely in your browser; files and input are never uploaded.

## How it works

1. Add time zones or cities to the list.
2. Move the time with the time slider.
3. Find the range where everyone is in green.

## FAQ

### Is daylight saving time taken into account?

Yes. The conversion uses your browser's time zone data, so summer and winter time are handled automatically.

### What is the difference between UTC and GMT?

For everyday use none, both refer to the same time. UTC is the technical standard, GMT the older name.
