1. Set the length. 16 characters or more is a good choice.
2. Decide whether to include upper case letters, numbers and symbols.
3. Copy the password and save it straight into your password manager.

## FAQ

### How long should a password be?

At least 12 characters, better 16 or more. Each extra character makes it much harder to guess, more so than one extra symbol.

### Is it not risky to create a password on a website?

With sites that generate it on a server, yes. Here it is created in the browser with the Web Crypto API and not transmitted. You can turn off Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works.
