## How it works

Capture still images of your desktop, a window, or a browser tab directly via your browser.

Click "New Screenshot" and choose the area you want to capture in the browser dialog (screen, window, or tab). The tool automatically takes a still frame and shows it for review. You then save the finished image as a PNG file on your system.

Calls navigator.mediaDevices.getDisplayMedia({ video: true }) to receive a temporary MediaStream of the selected screen/window. The first frame is rendered onto a <video> element and captured to a 2D canvas via HTMLCanvasElement.getContext("2d").drawImage(video, 0, 0). Stream tracks are immediately terminated via track.stop() and the image is exported via canvas.toDataURL("image/png").
