## How it works

A tool to extract the most dominant colors from an image and create a compact color palette.

Upload an image. The tool analyzes the image pixels locally in your browser via a canvas element, using a median-cut quantization algorithm to find the top 8 to 64 colors. Click a color to copy its HEX value, or export the palette as a text file.

Extracts pixel data from a canvas and applies median-cut color quantization. Recursively partitions the 3D RGB color space to derive dominant palette colors.
