## How it works

A metronome helps you maintain a steady tempo while practicing instruments or composing music.

Set your desired tempo (BPM) using the slider or by entering it directly. You can also choose the time signature (e.g., 4/4 or 3/4) to emphasize the first beat of each measure. Use the "Tap BPM" button to set a tempo manually by clicking rhythmically.

Employs the Web Audio API for precise rhythmic timing. A lookahead scheduler queues audio bursts ahead of time to eliminate event-loop jitter.
