# Color Palette from an Image

> Extract the main colors of a photo or logo as HEX codes. Handy for web design, presentations and mood boards.

Want the colors from a holiday photo for your slides, or a client's brand colors from their logo? Load the image and get between 8 and 64 colors, each with a HEX code to copy.

- Open in browser: https://pockettoolbox.org/en/color-palette-from-image
- Tool: [Image to Palette Extractor](https://pockettoolbox.org/en/palette-extractor)
- Runs entirely in your browser; files and input are never uploaded.

## How it works

1. Load an image.
2. Choose the number of colors.
3. Click a color to copy its HEX code, or save the palette as a text file.

## FAQ

### How many colors should I pick?

8 is enough for a logo. For photos with lots of gradients, 16 to 32 colors capture the mood better.

### I only need one specific color from the image.

The eyedropper in the color detector tool is better for that. You click exactly the spot you want.
